My favourite piece of technology

Although I am really bad with technology I have one object that I can't live without and it is my laptop. I got it at the beginning of the last year, when I was about to get into college. My mom thought that the one we shared wasn’t going to be enough, so she got one for me.

She was right because that laptop has become a huge part of my life. In there I have all of my class assignments and everything that I have written. I take it with me almost every day to college so I can work between classes. I also love it because I think that is a window to the world, from there I can do, see, reed or listened to everything that I want. Last month stops working, I don't know why, it just went to black, was the worse time ever! Good luck for me I went to the technical service and they fixed.

The best desicion ever

The way I get to the journalism wasn't very common, and many of you will think that I was irresponsible or childish. The truth is that I never knew very well what I wanted to study. The problem wasn’t that I didn't liked anything, at the opposite, everything liked me, except engineering (mathematics are not my thing).

One day some students of journalism at the University of Chile came into my school, that day started a think about the career. even after I take the PSU I wasn’t sure  about the career but had to get into college that year, so I did. Today I can say that even i didn't think much it was the best decision and I have no regrets, I can not imagine in any other career.

My short biography

Hi, my name is Catalina, I am 21 years
old and I am from Santiago. I was born on july 8th of 1995, my mom is a single mother so I live with her and my grand parents. I studied all my life in the same school, at nine years old I started to practice rhythmic gymnastic, so in the mornings I went to school and in the afternoon I would train. When I was around 15 years old I had and injury on my hip so I had to get surgery two times. After that I quit rhythmic gymnastic and I entered college to study journalism, today I am in the second year of my
studies which makes me really happy.
